That great white spot in the middle there is just a Great Big Snowstorm. Chicago gets a weather phenomenom called "lake effects snow" sometimes, Dan. Basically, it is cold, the lake provides moisture, the wind blows the moisture over the city and it looks exactly like this picture for a few weeks.



Oh so I hear...never seen it myself, just rumors. I live a little south of Chicago where the snow comes to the city... then leaves the city....
usually on the same day. :)

A hint? Macro recently bought a car that may have been my neighbor....

i can't put my claw on it but i believe something might be missing from this picture.... oh well! Very nicely done, i love the clean stright lines. it's very architecture-ish style of a point of view drawing. All the line converge at a focal point... i was never very good at that stuff.

Very nice work. I'm taking a perspective class at the moment, and all I can say is Oh dear god, the windows! My wrist hurts just thinking about drawing that many windows in perspective. I salute your perseverance. *salutes*
