I watched Last Unicorn for the first time a few days ago. I know I'm late to that one by like 30 years, but I did enjoy it a lot. However, the modern portrayal of unicorns as passive creatures irritates me to no end (Use those horns, damn it! There's several hundred of you and only one bull! GAH!!!!!) and I greatly prefer the image of unicorns as warriors.
As such, I felt inclined to rework my unicorn/kirin based alien species, Traers. There are two subspecies, the Traer'rtu (unicorn-like) and Traer'sul (kirin-like). And yep, they are a warrior species.
I'm scratching my head on how to do a species sheet for them so more on them later.
This girl will probably end up being a character in her own right since I do like her design.

I am a fan of the show, too. https://www.conlanpress.com I think is their home. I saw it when Mr. Beagle brought it to Portland.
I especially loved one of the last scenes, the Unicorn Wave. I find that it's available in graphic novel form, and Blu-Ray.
(they are calling that one "The Enchanted Version") In fact, I have changed my avatar to Unicorn because I was so smitten with that movie. I am also studying them when and where ever I can find them in literature. not to mention the finding of the bones of one in Siberia. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jE9UlUXCO6I I will tell of many books I have found them in if you are interested. there is even a cartoon that has one that shoots it's horn like a missle, but the animation is lousy...
