A joint effort between Zero-Resurrected from Newgrounds.com and me. It's a fresh remix of the original tune and I think as a Megaman fan, you'll enjoy listening. >:)
Zero-Resurrected did all the synths and drums. As for my part, I did the guitars (d'uh), some additional drums and the final mixdown.
Download the tune here if you liked what you've heard! Votes are appreciated as well! ;)

Guitar needs a little less volume cause its almost overbearing[its all you really hear other then the highs from the hats]. Break loops [drums] need a "hard knee" to make them more snappy. Unless its what you intended... Otherwise it came out pretty awesome :D.
Skilled playing is win :D

Ugh...gaaah, I hate it when that happens. You see my ears where deaf after listening to this over and over. I always try not to work on a track for a day or two in order to listen to it again with fresh ears but I totally fucked up here.
Furthermore, if nobody says a word that this isn't well made (FA is not the only site I'm on, ya know. ;) ) ...well, I guess it's alright? But damn, I really have to re-mix this one again, just for my own satisfication. My mixes are usually a lot better but I guess I got a little sloppy there.
Thanks for the pointers and thanks for listening. Looks like FA can use another guitar player after all. ;)

Hehe, probably. It's just the nature of guitar players. xD
Funny enough, it's what I do too nowadays, mind you that those tracks I upload here now are fairly "old" and normally, you get better over time. ;)
Thanks for the praise but I would consider myself as average, not really great. Just doing my thing, that's all. So you play guitar as well? Where are your recordings then?

I havent played and recorded my guitar in a while, I play a Ibanez custom shop IC300CDM build like Daron Malakians guitar from the first System of a down album. I also play a Franken-strat.
It started as a Squire Affinity Stratocaster, and I put fender parts into it and changed its electronics out and turned it into a Fatstrat... its got limited edition Seymour duncan PU's in it to give it a more unique sound.... it sounds tinny on the highs and bassy on the mids and lows, perfect for a guitarist ona budget... I got like a bunch of Boss FX and I'm going to start Racking up in right after I commission artists to draw my stinkers. I'll upload something on here sometimes, I don't touch my guitar as often as I used to since I work fulltime and work with synthesizers a lot now. But I follow a lot of "nu-metal" styles, think SOAD, Godsmack, Disturbed. Not much in the way of solos but very heavy on the rythems...
I sold my amps [a vox tube amp and a solid state fender] before moving to texas as well as 90% of my studio, as you may understand I'm attempting to rebuild it in my house. :/

Damn, that's a lot of text. XD
I'm not used to such long comments like this but it's a welcome change. ;)
I currently own 3 guitars. A "b.c. rich virgo blood" as my main guitar with an EMG-85 active pick-up equipped, as well as a LTD F-50 also with an EMG-85 active pick-up and not to mention my very first guitar that I still use for practice stuff at work: Ibanez GIO! ;D
Though, due to unwanted noises from the EMG pick-up while recording I will change to passive seymour duncan SH13 dimebucker dimebag darrell humbuckers. I think you already know the vantages! ;)
I know all about the time problems. Work fulltime as well and it's a hard balance between actually doing something with the guitar or just mixing etc. which consumes a lot of time as well.
I see. I'm more into stuff like Machine Head, Amon Amarth, Static-X, SlipKnoT, Killswitch Engage and a shitload of others.
Well damn, your studio suffered really then. Hope you can regain everything. As for me, I'm still building up. ^^

I dont do commissions of copywritten music, and its illegal unless you do a cover of it and a intellegent material TRADES..
if you sold it you'd need to buy a 15$ mechanical license. :P
If you create it in the sake of education its fine. Right now I have a journal entry up for people to suggest songs for me to cover cause I'm running dry on ideas and I'd like to tinker with something new, but I'd do it in Industrial style XD.
If you want the easiest way to get away with it. Go buy FL Studios, download the MMX soundtrack via MIDI's and drop in new instruments till you got something nice... with Amplitube and a simple noise maker you can make a very convincing sounding guitar, or you can buy a REAL guitar and record a string at a time and playback that VIA sampling... this is assuming that you cant wail on it as it.
If you want it to sound more personal and to shake any form of serious copy write infringement... recreate the song yourself in a different manner, its still the same song, just reconstructed in a manner of your personal influence.... if some one wanted a cover that sounded exactly the same no one would wanna listen to it....
I wanna hear everything done in panflutes!
