Deep within the valleys of the volcanic mountains of Yar exists one of the fiercest of all the dragon clans, the Yasarin. Known for their brute strength, they are well respected among the other clans, though rarely visited. Their bodies are close to that of the strongest steed, rippling with dense muscle with every step, their eyes glow as red as the magma before them, and burn through their victems with twice it's flame, and their scales end in razors that could easily rip the flesh of an oncoming enemy, They are the tanks of the dragon realm. Their tails are short, for in battle, any long apendage could be damaged, their wings, unable to carry their weight, yet still highly prized, for the dragoness would never think twice about a male unable to protect his own crests... They may not be the largest of the dragon world, but ground dwellers beware, for they pack a horrible punch when push comes to shove.

This is one of the many races of dragon I have for meh book, though the design is not yet complete, they are quite different from your avaerage dragon.
