One of the npcs that showed up in the trailer is in the sketch work on the final evolution leaks. So its more or less confirmed.

If this is what his final form looks like, this might be the first game I choose a water starter.

Still would need to see Litten's final form before I made a decision though.

It's final stage is basically a wrestler-type of design, but I heard rumor its typing will be "fire/dark", which would be the first time since Houndour and Houndoom, especially for a starter.

I heard that there could be TWO final evolutions for all three starters. One in the day and one in the night. Also, I heard that litten's final evolution is sort of a werecat. Let us keep our hopes up for that.

Same goes for Rockruff, a rumor of its evolved form would be that of a werewolf.

It could also have different typings based of which island you leave it on.
Island 1 Rock/Dark
Island 2 Rock/Fairy
Island 3 Rock/Fighting
Island 4 Rock/Steel

This would have some verity to Rockruff's final form and I could see some of these being suitable.

We just have to wait until August 12th to see what they will have for us. It might just be more pokemon and maybe some new things about the area. But I hope that they will introduce us to the starter evolutions.

Of course, my Litten would be female and my Popplio would be male if these are the real final evos. :P
