I don't know about these guys but I think I'd be rather suspicious of any place the Empire would set aside for public use/recreation.

According to what I've read about the Sarlacc in a couple of Star Wars books I have, the "beak" is actually its tongue. I drew it in there for greater visual interest and because I had more reference for that version than for the original that was kind of rubbery flaps if memory serves me.
Actually Gordon and the Gorn were both in the tauntaun cast image, making them part of the family. I guess as long as I'm getting in trouble with the Star Wars side of things, what's a couple more franchises? At some point, I did want to make a joke with the Gorn about how he still had a diamond or two stuck in him.
About Boba Fett, I was joking with Susi that I had pondered a sequence where Roger the balrog gets pulled in, instantly setting the Sarlacc on fire. Roger gets back out of the pit by himself, toting a certain bounty hunter over his shoulder.
