The Bakraa species come from an unknown dimension where they exist as inter-dimensional nomads travelling from dimension to dimension to steal technology, weapons, ships ect. Their main overall goal is unknown, but you can make guesses to what they might be planning in the long run. The Bakraas are beings of organic parts held together by their life force. This new form grants them a more flexible body where they can distort themselves and cross just about any terrain. They do not need air or any breathable gas to survive, making them efficient at endurance even in the vacuum of space. And as for food, all they need is a supply of energy to survive. What kind of energy, it matters not.
