I submitted an extremely similar design to the Pokémon Company years ago, minus the dance aspect.

Coincidences happen all the time. With nearly a thousand designs, it's only natural some of them will look like fan ideas - heck, they even look like older Pokémonn or even Digimon sometimes.
Take a look at a Ghost/Dark legendary I designed way before generation 4 came out. It ate people's nightmares too. https://gyazo.com/37acfa90192a15ad0d1d9a042aea976a

Looks like a pre evolution of Darkari, cool! I guess it is a coincidence, but I am still proud I somewhat managed to predict it. I just hope it's battle ready or has an evolution that is, and not just a gimmick pokemon. I don't ever chose Pokémon based on their ability to battle, but with a full team of my favorites I don't want to replace I think that will now begin to be a deciding factor.
I've even heard Sun and Moon have some shared mechanics with fangames (Pokémon Insurgence I believe?) such as local Pokémon variations and no need for HMs, so yeah.
I don't think Oricorio will have an evolution, but I think that it has a lot of potential to be good as is - switch it in when you predict a Swords/Dragon/Quiver-dance, and you get a free boost without needing to set up for a turn. Plus the typing for the yellow forme is great offensive and defensive-wise - weak to Ice- and Rock-types only, and immune to Ground. Maybe not the kind of Pokémon to be at the very top of strong Pokémon, but it looks like something that will be fun to use in double battles or battle royales, in my opinion.

I hate cheerleades... too American for me (not saying I don't like America but it's just one of those things as a Briton I think are just too overly... American? Lol) I presume it copies allies too, so My Aegislash (I got it for its aperance and before it became a staple trol) already has Swords Dance, so great pairing for double battles. But I think I will get the ghost or fire form because I like those the most (if it's the fire one then that would be my first ever fire type pokemon I've ever used as I dislike fire types normally)
