Poor Shadow, realizing that power isn't everything. Good to see that he's back to himself again, though it WAS cool seeing him kicking butt as a bad-assed wolverine! :p

I like him a lot better this way. To bad the comic will end with only one more page. Certainly enjoyed it though.

I actually liked him better as a wolverine, though I can see what a lonely life that'd end up.

Hopefully he'll figure out the medallion's secret, and perhaps be able to live a dual life. :)

Not that I'm foreshadowing anything (so to speak), but I've always been a big fan of The Incredible Hulk TV series in the late 70's, starring Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno. I guess the influence that show had on me is reflected in the past three or four pages...

It does bring to mind the wolverines from the Spellsinger. They were a monumentally discontented, for the most part unhappy lot for whom fighting and war were their whole life. Still, Shadow seemed far less Incredible Hulk -- or even a Wizard's World wolverine -- and more just a poor bullied soul looking for a little respect.

Trouble is, there's a difference between 'respect' and 'fear' and it appears he learned it the hard way.

True, and very observant of you to notice that. However, the house thing was more like the final straw, as he was already starting to think that being a wolverine wasn't all it was cracked up to be.
