Politeness, rough-housing. Being competitive. Each pony is different. C'mon. You know, Dashie. She'd probably laugh at first, unless you explained ot her that it'll help strengthen your haunches for tighter aerial turns, or faster ground manoeuvres. She'll be all like, "Oh? Well.. good! I needed somepony good enough to challenge me!" as she bumps your side with an elbow and y'all go off and get some cider. Dash, ain't a meany, or someone that needs fisticuffs all day long. She understands privacy, softness, and Gilda! You did tick her off, but... she always remembered.
