Walking, a battle, poisoning, and teaching how to use a spoon.
Pretty much sums this chapter up. :B
Jewelweed rules. I found out I was allergic to poison ivy a while ago when I wandered through some woods on my property in Arkansas. It felt and looked horrible, so i did some research on natural cures for it (I avoid most medicine as much as possible. I just prefer the natural stuff.) and stumbled upon a thing about Jewelweed. It was pretty easy to find. I used some of it on the rash and it helped, it didn't stop the itching as much as i had hoped but then again it was a pretty bad case.
Anyway i'm done talking, as always feel free to comment.

I feel that you were mistaken when you told me that Chapters 1 and 2 weren't as good as the 3rd. I enjoyed them quite a lot and it introduced me to many of the things I missed from only reading the 3rd. I'm beginning to realize that I made a very fortunate discovery noticing this series in "Recent Uploads." I'm glad this site does that now. It opens you up to things you might not look for and you never know when you're going to stumble upon a diamond like this.
Despite what you warned in your profile, I find you to be a very talented writer and I'm absolutely hanging on to every sweet moment that Ark and Terra share. I adore how she's conscious of the planet and giving back. I adore how Ark respects her for that and everything else about her, not minding that she lacks the eyebrow fluffs of ordinary Lopunny. The thought of them together makes me really happy, especially when times in our own world are so tough and bleak. It makes me sick and depressed that I have to be a part of this banality.
The fact that Ark can get so much enjoyment and fulfillment from being out in nature, enjoying the company of a Pokemon he shares the same planet with is absolutely lovely. He sees her not as a lowly creature, but of a sentient equal that has to discover what it means to exist from no guidance just as humans do. It's that diversity in appearance, in species, in culture, but the ability to interact through the universal language of love that I was just born to enamor. It's kind of weird to admit this here, but I don't think anything else in life is capable of making me happier than that idea.
That's why I got into Pokemon in the first place in 1999. It wasn't the fad. Humans and non-humans interacting, working together, sharing the beauty of life, and some, the beauty of each other. ^^ Wonderful.
I've always wished I could have something like that. It's lonely in the real world.
In any event, please continue this story and do so at your own pace. Most people would be like "hurry, update soon" but you have something great here and you shouldn't try to force anything you don't feel because you're worried that people aren't enjoying. There's always someone who enjoys what you're creating, whether they stay in the shadows or make themselves known. I personally hope this story is as long and drawn-out as possible, with no detail left untouched. The way your words flow and your ideas resonate with me is very exciting. The plot is great too. I love finding out about all the new characters, and the way the Pokemon world works, and I actually guessed what the "Pokemon's Gift" was early on. Actually, it wasn't so much guessing that's what it was as in "Wouldn't that be cool if that's what it was?"

Thank you, Thank you very much for posting your comment.
You've given me a huge confidence boost.
I'm glad you liked chapters one and two. I look back on them now and realize that they are okay. The first chapter just bugged me because it was only about 1000 words. I forgot the reason why I said the second chapter wasn't as good
Funnily enough I was inspired to write this all by another story I found in the "recent uploads" section. Well actually its a bit more complicated than that, I found a user that posted a story which was in the "recent uploads", I then read the 3 chapters to it and looked at the comments clicked on one of them (strange habit I have), found out he was a writer also, read the 16 or so chapters he had posted and finally was inspired by it. I look back at that and wonder "Would I still write this story if I had never clicked on that one submission?". Just the thought of things like that keeps me awake at night.
This story lets me (I don't know how to say it) gives me something exciting in this otherwise dull life, someway to express myself, and breaks up the boredom of having nothing to do. (despite what some say, games do lose their luster after you've played them for a wile, no matter how much you like them.)
Ark and Terra's personality's borrow quite a bit from past experiences I've had with other people, and my own personal views of life. I'm not going to go into detail, but both Ark and Terra would be a lot different if I never had those experiences
You took the words right out of my mouth about how I feel about pokemon.
When i first started this, I didn't know how I would feel about writing because honestly, this is the first story I've ever written. I've read a lot of books and when I go to a book store i feel like I'm 10 years old in a massive toy store. This however, was a completely new experience to me, one that I wish I would have done much sooner. I don't plan on stopping any time soon, and when I do I'll make another story. Writing is just to much fun.
