---When the two Moons were at their peak in the sky, and all the tars had come out to play, I knew I was well beyond curfew to return to the Temple. My duties for the day had long been done. I often told the Elders that this time alone was essential for my studies...a time of 'reflection' so-to-say. But, what was it that I was truly reflecting on? Was this time for self-discovery...truly time for meditation? Or was I just being lazy? "Lazy"...I almost had to cringe at the word. A priestess was not 'lazy'...her whole world centered around purging herself of the darkness, devoting herself completely to the Mother Goddess and the Divine. Still, as I sit there playing with the crackling electricity that I had summoned to my fingertips, I began to wonder if maybe I really was just avoiding going back...that maybe I wasn't reflecting on anything, but rather, something in my soul kept me here because it desperately wanted to escape from this path I was on. I was always told I would do great things. But, bringing the rains, singing praises, and occasionally offering blessings to others did not seem like great things to me. Not anymore. So now the moment of reflection finally fell upon me and I wonder: "Am I meant for something greater?"
