IRL STORY TIME! The first video game I ever played was Sonic The Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Genesis, and the first game I ever OWNED was Digimon World for the PS1. Both great games in their respective fields, and when I thought about it, I realized that I haven't really shown that side of myself here in the art I get, so I thought when
ConejoBlanco was doing a free raffle, I thought I'd try to throw my towel in and see if I could. Needless to say, I was lucky enough to win his raffle and here's he and I just chilling out, playing video games as the little babs we are. Looking at the controllers, my guess is either SNES or Sega Genesis. X3

I hardly remember my FIRST ever gaming experience. Eerily, I could call back to my childhood back in the day and the first ever consoles I used to play was either the Nintendo 64 or the PlayStation.
I think... the ever first sliver of gaming that approached me WAS the first PlayStation, with its standby screen, playing music. But then I remember playing "Disney's DINOSAUR", and later "Digimon World" for the PS1.

Well the digitization sequence creeped me out as a child. More so the confusion that it wasn't even centeredly based on the first anime series, but the Tomogatchi-like keychain devices Digital Monsters was first based off of.
I didn't even get into the gameplay since I was so young at the time. Plus, I wasn't even sure how I could have progressed into Digimon World (in any of the games) without my adventure being halted. The first Digimon World I had ever succeeded in playing was DAWN DS.
