Since starting Coping with Limitations Through Pony in the Fall of 2013, I've dedicated myself to doing all I can to help others through the power of pony.
What you see in this image is but a fraction of what I've personally donated to a local area school in the Harrisburg, PA area. Upon realizing how positive a motivator My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is to individuals with special needs, limitations, and/or disabilities, I've donated numerous pieces of my personal collection to ensure the students can enjoy Pony through earning it rather than worrying about affording it.
As most of you know, teachers are very underpaid and underfunded. The donations I've been able to make through Coping with Limitations Through Pony have helped the school, students, and its staff continue incentive programs, like "Student Store", without requiring anything out-of-pocket on their part. This has brought me a lot of joy due to how much it has helped me cope with my own limitations by learning to let go of the past while giving to those who can truly benefit from those items I have in which my degenerative ocular condition makes impossible for me to truly enjoy anymore.
This said, I've donated other items from my personal collection to the school, its partners, and individuals who have reached out to me through Coping with Limitations Through Pony.
Some of the most notable items I've been able to donate have been thanks to working with very kind people. These include, but are not limited to...

As Founder and Project Lead for Coping with Limitations Through Pony, I have worked to have CWLTP recognized as a "Gaming Group" to acquire promotional materials that have proven very motivational for the students in the school. It has also helped me provide special cards to some very deserving individuals who are on their own paths of coping with what has, is, or will be happening in their lives. I'm extremely thankful for the kindness Discordia Games and Enterplay LLC show towards causes, such as CWLTP. They truly model the best in what businesses should do to foster acceptance, understanding, empowerment, and, most importantly, a sense of community.

I'm glad to have been able to do what I've done for as long as I have. Knowing I can play a part in making the lives of others better makes me very happy. Especially when I know how challenging it can be to succeed upon becoming an adult with a special need, limitation, or disability. Being able to provide insight and positive motivation in how we can all play a part in making a positive difference gives me hope that we can all feel a true sense of "Community" instead of being judged by ill-perceived "Labels".
That's kind of my hope. There are definitely kiddos interested in MLP at the school. If they can earn the Starters and packs, I'd like to think they'd be interested in finding others in the class, or even outside of class, to learn the game and play it. There's nothing more fun than a little card flopping and imagination instead of staring at the TV all the time. :)
It makes me so sad that teachers are not only underpaid, but subjected to having to pay to keep up their certifications while also being responsible for supplying their classroom. People think most get three months of vacation, but that is such a lie as a lot of educators put in so much free overtime during the school year to ensure the well-being of their students while also using the summer to prepare lesson plans for the forthcoming school year. It's certainly not the "Walk in the Park" that some try to make being an educator out to be. It's a great responsibility and a true labor of love.
You will be a great educator for how you are kindhearted, extremely smart, and have an extremely creative mind that will keep your students engaged. I'll always be rooting for you as you play your positive role in ensuring our future is a bright one. :)

This is quite an interesting game to play. Instead of battling, it instead focuses on solving problems, very original.
I remember my school had a Game Club, where we could bring in Game systems and T rated games to play for fun. Some people also had Yugioh cards. This game might have appeared too.

Enterplay has done a really good job of not only making the game, but keeping it fresh and original with each expansion. They also appear to do a lot of play testing prior to releasing a set, which can be most helpful in ensuring fairness.
I would have really liked to play the game myself, but I am happy to know I can assist folks in enjoying it through CWLTP.
Did you ever play any card games? I played MAGIC, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Pokémon. MAGIC being my favorite of the lot.

Was "Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship 2008" designed to play like the real game with the actual cards? (I ask since they've made some Yu-Gi-Oh! games that don't exactly follow the standard, gaming mechanics)
I played "YGO: The Eternal Duelist Soul" through a GBA Emulator back in 2001, or 2002. It played just like the real card game and, as you said, the AI did often have some really cheap moves they seemed to always be able to pull off during the first turn. (Seto Kaiba was always able to play a Cyber Stein, pay the 5,000 life points, and instantly summon his Blue Eyes Ultimate White Dragon). Getting rid of that was always hoping I would draw my Cyber Jar, Dark Hole, or Raigeki.
