Aku as pred? I never thought I'd see the day XD

A shading method a friend of mine uses is to apply different pressures to oC's eraser to give a shiney look ^^ Look in my gallery for the oC's I did with  thecruelseasons for some examples ^^

Aside from making your outline along the same colors of the area they border, when you shade, I'd recommend trying cel shading, but with a different tool than what you normally use to shade.

Looking at your gallery, it looks like you enjoy the airbrush a lot, and I'm guessing you're using photoshop. An airbrush is really nice, but heavy use of it in a cel shading manner gives an "embossed" sort of look to the picture.

What you might like to try is using something that creates hard lines instead of using the gradation of an airbrush. Then, cel shade. For shadows, choose a color a couple shades darker than the normal color; for highlights choose a couple shades lighter. Do not use white, or near white unless you're attempting to give something a shiny look. You can also use a highlight color, and then a white or near-white to add shine.

Creating texture with this isn't hard either. When you're creating the outline of the shaded or highlighted areas, create jags in your line to indicate fur pattern and texture, but be sure to use a sharply defined line tool to do this so there's definition to it all instead of fuzziness.

My idea is simple: I'd like to be omnomnom'd by one of your preds. =P Plus, you haven't drawn a Poke'mon in vore. (Gangstachu was cute but it wasn't vore!) And I'm a Charmeleon, so...

Plus, you obviously like a good mawshot, and I definitely have a nice maw myself...so actually, I would work pretty well as a pred too. Hrrm.

So my idea isn't really concrete, but...tell me what you think. :P

Yeah... XD Subtle, aren't I? But yeah, basically you have free range to do whatever ya want with me...prey or pred, I work well as both! =P Assuming you have any interest in drawing me, of course.

Well, I can't help with shading ideas, but I do like the picture. They both look wonderful here, with the expressions on their faces being quite adorable. As always, I love the big paws you give your characters and of course, the big, slimy, drooling tongue is always a plus. :)

Hehe. Yeah, well you're pictures are always so fun and adorable, that I can't help but do what I can to offer my opinion on what I like about them. :)

And yes indeed... slimy, smelly, hyena drool is just as disgusting and icky as the drool from any monsters out there. That's what makes it all so wonderful. ;)

Holy crud, the tongue... It's enormous! Not that that's a bad thing. :3
