Hey folks! Haven't had one of these in a while, huh?
You may remember John Basu from this year's express yourself contest. He came in second and I was curious to see what he was doing with himself in the months following the contest.
It is through this process that I discovered Howl: A fully scored album consisting of 15 songs that he's only recently put out. Listening through it for the first time I was floored by the production quality and cohesiveness of the songs, and simply had to share the album with you guys.
It's a fantastic orchestral collection with amazing collaborative co-stars (such as
SirCanidLunatic, who did amazing guitar work on I of the Storm).
