This actually brings back allot of memories for me when the towers were
still up. I remeber looking at them all the time every time I walked around Chambers street. Every new yorker including myself felt as if the towers were a part of the city. When I saw them collapse, I felt as if a great part of the city was being destroyrd. I truly missed them and looking at them all the time.

Hope I didn't cause negitive feelings then. ^^ I was really impressed by the build, thought it would be something nice to post- specially since 9/11 is pretty close.

Oh that is impressive... I remember seeing the twin towers when I still lived in New England. I saw them when I was going to New York for a field trip way back in 6th grade. Very fitting since 9/11 is coming up.

Yeah, I didn't actually notice how close Patriot Day was until I posted these. I never got a chance to see the two before they fell. So seeing them in SL was pretty cool. I got a shot of myself inworld as a red/white/blue dragon standing on the top of them. :P

the WTC in Second Life!!!!!!!!!!!!

When i saw this i thought it was a screenie from GTA:VC or GTA:SA as they too have made a mod that adds them to the game (PC Version only)

I didn't know that. I never played VC/SA to much, only when my cusin had them. (he has them on PS, anyway.)

how do i find them in Second Life?

Try and search for World Trade Center or something. The guy that showed me them, he just randomly ported me to it.

Someone rezzed them in a weapons testing sim... most brilliant thing I'd ever heard.

NYC is damned impressive, I should get the pics I took of my trip to it uploaded. No towers in mine, but some nice shots off the Empire State.
