This is the finished version of http://www.furaffinity.net/view/20599044/ It has its muzzle. The mask is entirely leather with wire stitching, with the exception of the teeth, which are sheet steel. There are also sheet copper ornaments on the muzzle and in the center of the forehead. I really like the look of the sheet steel teeth, very fierce-some.
This has been a very interesting piece to work on. It was a great excuse to restock my red wire supply. It is electrical wire rather than craft wire which, I must say, has proved a less frustrating material, the coating holds up better and it is much more monetarily efficient (further proof of my "when ever possible don't buy a tool or material from a specialty craft supplier" rule).
I was calling this a wolf mask but I am not sure what sort of beastie it turned out to be. It is actually pretty comfortable to wear, since I added a layer of leather to the back of the mask once all the stitching was done so there are no nasty little pointy wire ends sticking out.
