I saw this Tau Hammerhead tank on ebay and the first thing I though of was....

It's the overly-gay Tau army!

So naturally I thought I would share the image here. Enjoy.

yea the purple colour does look a bit like you said "overly-gay" I'm not beeing phobic

its a very very cool tank but I'd like to see this in another colour I'll check up on ebay for other colours.

No way, purple works great on Tau gear; hell, it actually reminds me of Covenant vehicles from Halo in this scheme, or EVA 01 from Evangelion =P

Yeah, they're aliens; they'd have different tastes in colors than us. What may seem "gaudy" to us may be appealling to them.

Seriously, this scheme is wicked! love the combo of purple, green, and grey-not to mention the paint is put down VERY nicely. I wish I could mee tthe person who painted this so i coun congratulate them myself on such a wonderfully applied paint scheme, and then ask for his secrets XP

heheh, I also did it with one of my battlesuits...I gave it one of the leftover Hammerhead burst cannons I got in a trade, and with VERY little modifying it fit PERFECTLY under the arm. I'll take better photos before I re-paint it
