Well, I did make a resolution to try out different styles and come to an understanding on them, and one of my biggest problems is with most Western animation styles. So after
alexreynard made it pretty clear that he wanted me to sketch Fifi of Tiny Toons fame, I figured it would be in my best interest to comply. It was quite difficult, but after a while I got a handle for how the faces were constructed and decided to take her for a whirl. The middle one was just for contrast to my usual stuff.

Hm. Y'know, I feel that you've got it all wrong. You've already got a style. It's however you draw things. An inconsistent style is still a style, much like a derivative style, a forming style, an evolving style, and even a rudimentary style. It's all yours! That's why you've gotta give it love and time.
you know the tough thing about Tiny Toons is it has to be one of the more inconsistent animated series on tv for looks of the characters.Several animation studios worked on it for WB and they had wildly different looks on the characters.Episodes like 13something had them looking like teens.Other art like offical clip art from when the series was created has them looking like 2 heads tall! Its really all over the place ! I lke your version of her though.Reminds me of how she looked from TTA How I spent My Summer Vacation movie.
I like these. I think you got the overall style down nicely, 'specially those characteristic lines around the mouth and the curves of the hair.
It's like the construction of WB, but you can sense your lines. I see more of your usual style in the torso and legs(far left); they're more human than the show does them (and for some odd reason the combination makes me think of JACK)
Those are some lovely expressions you got down.
Hee, downy cheeks ^^

I'm absolutely floored how well you got the look down. I was a big fan of TTA and A! (I'm still a big fan I suppose)
It sounds like you did quite a bit of prep before attempting it. I suppose that would save you from having to practice it over and over until it looked right, huh?
I'll keep on the lookout for more. o.o
Also: I like Fifi in your style but I think I like the classic look more. I guess I'm just old-fashioned...

Huh, now that's interesting. I seldom see artists switching up their stylistic designs on the same page like this. Pretty cool to see how you shift things back and forth!
It's been forever since I last saw that show. They'd all have graduated college now, if any semblance of a timeline was being maintained.
