I have a feeling that he might lose both girls because of this but I wonder if Agnes knew a lot more than he's telling her. Agnes probably warned him about this happening with Courtney but only did so as a hint rather than actually telling him that this might happened. Either way he knowingly used the word "date" just so she could hang out with him and he SHOULD HAVE known the implications behind such a word. Because of this he pretty much led her on into thinking she was going out with him as a potential boyfriend rather than just a friend. He needs to suffer the consequences from doing that, because he must have thought that he was leading her on at one point but deluded himself into believing that wasn't the case. If he's going to learn something from this besides losing her as a friend forever, is that he should never use the word "date" in place of hanging out with other people, especially other girls again.
