Hmm..normally I'm not one to bash someones views and what not, but guns are not evil, it is the inherent intent of the user, the one who pulls the trigger. I carry a gun daily, I keep at least 30 rounds with me at all times. The gun is a tool. Just as a hammer is used to put the nail into the wood, my gun is used to put the enemies of my country into the ground before they can come to bear harm against those that I love. You are entitled to your opinion to dislike guns, but please, don't call them evil.
i just wanted to say something but i wonder if i should....
what if that person harming that loved one or you was forced to do it to protect his loved ones and all that ... and you shot and killed him ... you would have killed an innocent man ... just saying ok ... *has an overactive imagination*

To that I say that you cannot call yourself innocent if you raise a weapon to cause harm in any sense. I may have shot him, he may be dead. But my goal was attained, his actions were diverted. And in no way am I innocent. It is still his blood, my hands. Only thing is, here, were I am, the people I am carrying this weapon to stop plant bombs in dead animals, inside anything they can. If they could, they'd release small pox and anthrax across my nation, killing thousands. So, that one bullet, that one round, that one life. In return? The lives of thousands who never posed a threat to him or his way of life.
And I encourage an overactive imagination, it's good, it shows that you're at least thinking, and I applaud that.

Personally, I'm one of those people that think that anything that can ease the stranglehold of human overpopulation can't really be condemnable. We've got this elitist view with our species that, if looked at in good light, seems rather unfounded. We're just animals, like the others, and natural selection has tried its best to put the responsibility of thinning ourselves out in our own hands.
Nature is quite clever.
