Long and short;  knuxtiger4 forced me to draw my headcanon for some goldstone designs besides my actual character.
Mostly keeping in mind that colors seem to be important to how gems behave and general gem class.
Personally see goldstones as the poor man's pearls.
Blue goldstones tend to be kept around as conversation partners and general to look pretty much like most pearls.
Brown/Red goldstones tend to be personal bodygaurds as well as heavy lifters for whoever they belong to.
Green goldstones are much more like maids/butlers, doing a lot of cleaning but also repairing equipment when needed.
