Why oh why does this give me a huge Westworld vibe?

I have a theory as to what's going on, BUT, it's just a theory. I believe the world of Evyr and the inhabitants were created for Claire. And that also includes Claire's world and family...something terrible must have happened to her back in that dystopian time, hence pod number 3 having a spinal cord which is still connected to Claire's brain.

Her father must have been the mastermind behind all of these characters and worlds. Whatever incident happened to Claire affected him greatly, so he tried to save her by re-creating her in cyberspace with what little was left of his daughter, which includes everything she knows like her home, Proto, the trouble with her parents and so on.

However, he knows Claire is incredibly smart and will soon figure out that her life has now become artificial. So how does one prevent that? By making a new world for her to get lost in. So that during his incredible Uber Quest, she might forget that little part in her mind that something isn't right.

As for the rest of the cast, I think that Claire's father needed more actual living Ferras to be implemented. Maybe they were kidnapped or part of the scheme. However in the last panel we see multiple Sesame's, so the others must have been cloned.

Of course this is all a theory. X3

Just had one more thing to say. If Claire's father is really behind all of what's going on...he is one MAD FATHER. :P

Eh so what Sesame, it turns out your life was a just a simulation running at min-*burp*-imum capacity.

I find it kind of funny. I find it kind of sad.
