Sometimes the best pieces need a lot of tinkering before they materialize. This one is stunning. The golden autumn light lends it a perfect atmosphere of intimacy and comfort for a pair of wayward wanderers, relaxing after a long day's travel through the woods. I'd recommend making a few prints, if you can--I'd certainly jump at the chance to buy one!
I enjoy how one can take this picture as uplifting or somber. I don't know if it was intentional, but it seems that all the warmer and light colors are swooping up while the cooler darker tones are more in a downward dirrection. Really love the flow and color choice, glad you had some extra paints on your pallet.
