I should think the latter source a bit more "canon" in appearance, with a few nods to practical engineering realities, though the stats there certainly don't match the design concept of a "non-warship" given its armament. Having the larger long range sensor array does make more sense for this general type of vessel, however. Overall, a very nice amalgamation. =^.^=
