So I had an idea...

This is I guess you can call it an au that I'm working on

I had to draw out my idea before I lost it

(Contains some spoilers to steven universe maybe so please if that irritates you don't read what I'm about to say)

After the war with home world the crystal gems won and slowly took over the entire empire with steven as the first ever king

After fixing the galaxy warp and loving life between earth and homeworld his friends start to grow old and die off and as a last ditch effort he decides to fuse with Connie permanently and is now using this to not only make himself (now herself happy) but to help homeworld accept fusions as something more then an abomination

She then slowly starts to integrate human society rules and beliefs into the gems culture and at first they didn't know what to think of all these changes since their civilization is far older and far more advanced then humans

But certain things they decided they actually like and accept and it slowly brings everyone together for a time of peace

Stevonnie now uses this chance to stop the expansion of the gem empire and instead use his resources to start a preservation army to protect planets like earth all over the universe

She has a round table of select gems as a council to vote on everything that happens so she doesn't get power crazy (garnet, jasper, pearl, Peridot, amethyst, and lapis) they are also in charge of different things and have different views

It's stevonnie goal to fix gem culture to be more about love and less about power

But not all accept this new thought
