In which a charr leaves his cave for his nightly serving of delivery.

I've been wanting to work on my backgrounds some more as they're not quite where I want them. With this, I had a chance to do that and try out new body proportions at the same time. I did some imaginary anatomy to help explain the shapes I saw while I was working with this guy, and I ended up colour coding them to help me identify which spots I wanted to draw the most attention to. Red = "hotter" area, Green = "Cooler" area...WONDER WHAT THIS ARTIST LIKES TO SEE?

I tried out a different way of approaching lighting on this one than I usually do. Instead of starting from flats and adding shading/high lights, I ended up creating a gradient light map that I pulled my flat tones from. I feel like it draws the picture together more and helps ensure lighting remains somewhat more consistent, but it's still too early to tell.

Anyways, there's a pizza box in the foreground and a delivery guy waaaaaaaay in the back. Hot ass in the center.
