Hello everyone, we got another update for you all!
So for those of you that have been following us since the beginning, you know that one thing we really want to prioritize in the game is the art and the story, it’s why we’re dedicating an entire stretch goal solely towards budgeting out additional and more diverse character and transformation artwork. But we also wanted to acknowledge how important the background work is for a visual novel.
That’s why we hired my friend
vdisco, to handle all of the backgrounds for The Pirate’s Fate! vdisco already created the first background, a new shot of the ship’s deck.
You can find a comparison picture on our Kickstarter , but for now I figured posting a group shot using the new background and updated character art would be fitting for now!
The Pirate’s Fate has less than 30 days to work on our stretch goals. Don’t forget, if we can get to $4000, we can upgrade to dynamic poses for all our characters.

The canine is Darious. He's the captain of the Dread Pirates and the leader of the crew that the protagonist joins in on for a treasure hunt.
