I was nearly done with this nice flat colored piece, but I had an idea to do a painterly overlay and see how it goes. Yay for experimental stuff!

Its actually funny how her wings got so large. When I was designing her, I was doing a bunch of headshots (as you do with a new character design) and all of them had her wings in them at a certain height as it was more interesting to draw. Then when I threw the rest of the body in, I realized the wings were HUGE. So I kept them. I mean, I had already designed the head with them that size anyways :P
