He was warned.
He moved the crank, and the box opened.
A discordant sound burst from the box, and strange ethereal shapes escaped with it. They swirled around Jask, as the box fell from his hands; ghostly hands grabbed him, and then it truly began.
To the strange tunes, the monkeys pulled and pushed and stretched Jask’s body. In their hands he was putty, and remade in their image.
When the box closed, ghosts dissipated and the music faded. A very confused red monkey stared blankly at the box.
