He doesn't run at the sound of footsteps or our voices heckling him anymore. He watches us as we watch him and the other foxes dance around, gorging themselves on fallen peaches beneath the trees, occasionally running off with a choice piece to some unknown location. All I can assume is that they are taking food to their young.
