I'm sorry, people, but Sam the Eagle, one of the most serious, conservative, 'Murica-loving, proud, angry, grumpy characters ever, is canonly bisexual, and is in love with Jean Pierre Napoleon. As I already said, Ty Burrell (who plays Jean Pierre) and Eric Jacobson (who performs Sam) both ship it ; the first one said that they have a platonic love affair in an interview and that Sam is gay in another, and the second one said in another interview that their story is a love story and that the badge scene was meant to be a meet-cute (eccentric circomstances that led a meeting between 2 characters, with possibility of hate between them at first, that will end up to become love in the end. A big cinema cliché).
Sam the American Eagle. BI. I would have never guessed until last Thursday. The infos made me jawdrop, and I watched the movie thanks to them and to the fanart ; I loved the movie, btw. Much better than the 2011 one (COME, HATERS).
