Endless Realms - Glitter Springs
Corebook artwork for Endless Realms, a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.
An illustration of the Dengu capital, Glitter Springs, a sprawling underground city which centers around a massive crystal worshipped by its people.

Heh, it's true, everyone likes shinies :b
To be honest, I don't think the crystal is -exactly- supposed to be glowing in the first place - all I was told was that it was really huge, and it could possibly be magical or inhabited by a spirit. For the sake of an interesting piece, I made it glow >_> haha
The Dengu can see in the dark, being subterranean folk, so there's minimal lighting in general - some magical glowing crystals, some bioluminescent mushrooms, that's it really, although I think the capital city is supposed to be a bit more approachable to the other races (who can't see as well, and are generally twice their height), whereas other Dengu cities are much smaller and more cramped, and I would probably expect darker, too.
