This is Hazaek's fifth model for Second Life. I don't think I uploaded the last two designs.
This time I'm really going to try to make decent headfeathers, and with the bento skeleton they will be slightly animated to poof up and stuff.
Hazaek is a star wars alien, the Fosh species.
Video of work on it, but it's kind of blehh because of how sped up it is.

I have been working on this on and off and have it rigged but have not textured it yet.

Oh, this is very well done!
Really hard to find good references on this race too (also made a face model for reference to help me figure out the form better when I wanted to draw one).
Looks really great, especially from the side!
From the front I would personally have made the face less wide, but that's of course up to you!
Always great to see more of those spacebirds!

Thank you!
Yes, they are quite detailed and strange in design to find a good reference. Only having Vergere to go by makes things difficult too, since the drawings are so varied. But I still really like them.
And yeah, I did think I made the face a bit wide, but the model is of my character who is male so probably has a bit more masculine appearance. But it will most likely be tweaked before the final shape is done.
I've been lazy and waiting on Bento to come out on Second Life before getting back to work on it. xD So maybe I will continue working on it soon.

Sadly the RPG session I llayed him in was aborted before I could practice more. X3
Definitely like your rendition very much. :D
Looking forward to see you continue this! :3

I like your interpretations! I was thinking of giving my design some kind of ears too, but I wasn't sure. Vaguely fin-like ears, like in this https://i.gyazo.com/9bac8dc66f323a6.....e7ac6f1fd6.png
Whatever I make the tentacley things on the head, the ones on the side will move with the ear bones.
