Here is the color version of the Jon Talbain Jumps pic. I used a traditional hand coloring method with colored pencils. The scan of course does not look as good as the original.

My favorite character from Darkstalkers and all the others as well. I even got the import Jap. Game with all the games on one PS2 disk. Sucks tho, Talbain is not in the last game made, Vampire Savoir 2. He is the only one that is not in it from all the games. Now that is really shity. I do not understand why they would have taken such a cool and unique character out.

Decent job with the coloring of him. I haven't played any games that he has appeared in, but from the way he looks, I'm surprised that he was taken out from the last game like you said.

Yeah, he is not in the last game, unless he is a hidden character. I am not sure. I just got the game and it is in Japanese, so I am not sure.

Did you know that his name in Japan is Gallon? That's what you should be looking for. Odd that they chose a measurement for a name, but it's the same Whirly Wulf We all came to know & love.

Thank you very much. I was trying an action pose, instead of a sitting or standing one. I am going to draw more of Jon. I love the character. I was working on a rough butt shot sketch. Maybe it will turn into a keeper.
