Variation on a scene that's semi-canon at best. Freshly made senator Tani awkwardly tries to get some clarification on some concerning rumors about what's really going on behind the walls of the Curia. Of all the scheming slimes that make up the High Council, Litarian's the one you'd most likely go to with awkward questions if you absolutely had to. He's still going to laugh, though.
Also an excuse to try and draw Tani in civilian attire. He looks much more nervous than in the sketch, but I kept it.
Litarian's been around forever but I never had anything to do for the character because he's not that remarkable. His heraldic animal is a lion, as a play on his preference for living large, displaying strength, need for admiration, and also a bit of a temper problem. (When Naran's having a bad day, he likes to set Litarian off just for the giggles.) But he's also fairly open, and doesn't come off as particularly jealous or malicious. When Gadeth first tried to win him over for his plans, he was surprised how easy it was. Still, he now trusts Litarian most of the bunch and has pretty much made him an extension of himself. When he got stabbed, Litarian was the only one who was notified right away. Sometimes, he's also asked his personal opinion on matters, outside of council.
Background story is still vague. Litarian had a lot of contacts to contribute and many followers of his own, and he also held a prestigious position in the army.
With that, there's only one of the current Council members left to draw.
