Hey guys! Remember my sketch of Lucina? Right here? https://www.reddit.com/r/fireemblem.....t_painting_it/
Well, here she is, all fully painted in all her glory! It took me days to do, and for some reason I only ever manage to finish my art when it's the buttcrack of dawn...
Anyways... her hair was a lot of fun to paint, and my friend/client really loved it and she can't wait to hang it on her wall and I can't wait to see it hung on her wall! So excited!
But now the well's run dry and it's time I open commissions again because payments for art school are coming up... can you believe I have to pay 7 grand up front and the rest of the 7 grand later in the semester? So that's a lot of commissions I'm going to need to open... wish me luck, ahaha...
So... Lucina is quite possibly my favorite kid. I love her determination and I love how serious and goofy she is at the same time. I also wish I was as pretty as her but that's not important, pfft.
The art piece in question was a lot of fun to paint but very challenging at the same time, because the environment I stuck her in was a very warm-hued one while Lucina's color palette is a very cold on. So I had to kind of... make her pink. :U Ah well, it worked out, I think! You can still tell she's all blue! ... I hope. The metal gave me a lot of trouble, since I'm really bad at painting that sort of stuff, but in the end I guess it turned out alright...
So enough of my rambling... I have RPs to catch up on and... not much else really.
