Tinsley wasn't like many of his peers at his university. He was far taller at 6'6'', far heavier, and a rather whimsical demeanor. By no means dumb, or ignorant, but instead altruistic and somewhat naive. He always wanted to get along with everyone, even if they didn't want to get along with him.
Despite being the heir to a large corporation, his interest lied with charity.
He was also somewhat repressed given his upbringing. He never really explored anything until he left home for university. When he met Chase, however, he started opening up more, and more, until the panda finally let him in on his tickling interests.
Tinsley wasn't aware that tickling was something that adults actually did between one another, and was intrigued.
