Amanda, Ari, Anna, and I are very pleased to announce that not only was our presentation successful, but we also had over 250 attendees!
BronyCon normally has at least five different panels and/or activities going on at once. Add in the Vendor Hall, Artist’s Alley, Autograph Lines, and gaming Areas it is definitely safe to assume we captured the interest of a fair amount of all those who attended BronyCon 2016!
BronyCon should have the full presentation available up on YouTube sometimes between October and December. We will definitely be linking it to all of you once it is up and ready for viewing.
We’re still waiting on hearing how much our charity auction piece sold for. It was hand drawn and signed by Asia Martinez, included a Flash Drive of all three years of our efforts at BronyCon, and was additionally signed by, in the least, one of the convention VIPs! We’ll let you know more when we do.

Oh, it did. :) And I now will be posting some adorable autographs. The first of which being from Tabitha St. Germain who not only did the voice of Binky from Pocket Dragon Adventures, but remembered having done the show, too! :)
Yes, I geeked out when she recalled being Binky. It was so many years ago, but she seemed like it was just yesterday. She even took my picture to put on her Twitter! (I wonder if I'll ever be able to find it)
Kind of ironic that the bird brained, dino-duck doesn't Tweet. <LoL!> :)

Hurray! I'm so happy you were able to attend our presentation. Ari, Anna, and Amanda did such an amazing job in demonstrating the pros, cons, and overall benefits of Role Play and Cosplay. As it is something I know many of us on FA do as a coping mechanism, I felt it was super-duper important to have a strong discussion on it and I couldn't be happier with how it all turned out.
Hopefully my part helped to lead into why Role Play and Cosplay are but one example of how we can "Own Our Cutie Marks". My section was definitely different, but aimed to set the stage for what the rest of the team was going to share while, with any luck, getting interest for others to look into what we presented in 2014 and 2015. (Nopresentation was the same. Each were designed to build and/or add upon the others)
Thanks again for coming. It means a lot to all of us. :)

And it did! Thanks in large part to your input and support. So much of what I've done, did, and will do comes from all the wonderful friends here who have taught me a true meaning of "Determination" as we all strive to be our best at what we love to do. :)
Right now, I'm gradually getting together all the post-convention letters and packages that will conclude Coping with Limitations Through Pony. With any luck, I'll have something out to you very soon. :)

Thank you. I'm very proud of everyone who played a part, including yourself, in making this presentation a success.
Many don't realize what I've presented on over the past three years has all been a large result of the friendships and discussions I've had here. There are lots of individuals with amazing talents who have misunderstood limitations. Being able to understand more than my own has, in my own opinion, helped me to better work as an advocate.
I'm looking forward to continuing to advocate for a better tomorrow through other media / actions. If you have any ideas, please let me know.
As a side note, I'm going to be gradually catching up on Notes again. Hopefully I can back to our discussions really soon. Thanks for your patience. :)

Oh, there is going to be a nice array of updates. :) I've actually decided that, for each day ahead, I'm going to trace my "Creativity and Friendship" chain from Pocket Dragon Adventures all the way to MLP: Friendship is Magic. It should be good times.
*Snugs* Thanks again for all of your support, dear friend. :) I'm running off little energy since my Cuddly Bear had to leave for her procedure at 5:00 AM and we were up at 3:30 AM with our bedtime at 1:00 AM. I'm one tuckered out duck-butt. However, knowing I'm here for her fills me with Determination. :)

This is why I'm super happy that it, as our other two presentations were, was recorded by BronyCon itself. With any luck, if you'd be interested in seeing it via YouTube, it will be up sometime between October and December. :)
It's nice knowing you can help make a difference. My hope is those who attended BronyCon and heard what we said and took our handouts will carry the knowledge forward to other conventions along with reading it to see how we are people before our limitations. :)

Is your brother a fan of Pony? If so, they are really putting forth a lot of effort to make sure everyone not only feels comfortable, but they also provide a number of very helpful rooms exclusively for the event in which any attendee may feel overwhelmed by people, sound, or light. Definitely good for stress and/or anxiety relief for just about anyone. They call them "Recharge Rooms". :)
Another benefit is the "Accessibility Pass". They respect it a lot and it helps those of us with special needs to not get stuck in lines, get into major events 15 minutes early, and also enter into places, like the Vendor Hall, before the rest of the herd gets in.
My wife and son were able to follow along with me on my Accessibility Pass and it really helped given how she had to largely guide me around and describe everything to me. Plus, for the major events, we were able to get seating that was more open where I could leave my white cane and medicine. :)

What was really nice about BronyCon 2016 is they had a genuine "Accessibility Panel" where they took in audience inputs to get a better idea of how to make the whole experience more enjoyable for everyone. :)
I chimed in on how, on their official web-site, they should have an "Accessibility" link so those with special needs can know what is all available at the convention to make it a more positive experience. I had no idea about the "Recharge Rooms" until I sat in on the panel. There are also a whole slew of accessibility aspects that, if you didn't already know about them, you'd have no idea they were available.
It seems they are moving the convention back into August for next year. This is a good move since a lot of things happened last inute for the July effort this year. They did get the whole Mane 6, but they really had to get a lot done in a short amount of time to ensure nothing went amiss.
I compliment the BronyCon Brass for being able to pull off what they did for 2016, but I'm sure they are glad they aren't trying to short themselves a month of planning next year. :)
