Getting back into the swing of drawing and posting things again, the first subject is Cress, hailing from a world called Tempo Rubato. Her world is defined by music - Cress herself is a student of the violin, which isn't shown here. Every area has its own ambient 'background music', and altering it actually affects the physical world (and maybe vice versa, if the changes are significant and long-lasting enough), among other things. This is also probably only the third picture I've ever inked - I used a rollerball pen, which seems more flexible than a ballpoint or a technical pen, but it's kind of tricky, and I'm not quite used to inking yet anyway. I'm looking into getting a brush pen, too, since I've been told they're much more flexible.
