I've been meaning to commission Adeloo for a bit. I've been quite fond of her stream commissions quality wise. So yesterday the opportune time happened and I ordered one.

I gave them the choice of three of my characters: Sylvia, the fiery zebra nightmare. Delvion, the ravenous armoured dragon. And Alexandra, the eastern black and white dragon beauty. It seems that Alex has turned into a very loved design.

I'd like to share a bit of her design choices with you guys so that it might help people understand how I go about creating characters.
- To begin of course Alexandra is a female version of Alexander. When I really like a male character design I end up getting a female version of it. And later I connect the dots with a story reason for it. Quite a lot of my characters have a male / female counterpart.
- Alexander was / is a character that's ended up closer to me than normal. I consider him my avatar in the online world. I'm not changing anything about the Riptor Stormwolf brand name so to speak, because that's simply referring to the main character of my story world Ephalon. Alexander is the main character in the modern era of Ephalon, which is a continuation of the story line.
- Honestly, the original colour palette idea behind the character of 'Alex' was very simple. I do a search for eastern dragons and find there are not only not a lot around, most eastern dragons tend to be hybrids and not pure breeds or are feral designs. And on top of very few if any black and white ones. Black and white eastern dragons aren't a common thing. Plus I'm fond of the mono colour type palette.
- They are sleek, slender, scaly and have hair, quite a lot of it! Plus my take on them is that both the Alex's are leader type personalities. Dominant if you will, but not explicitly so. And love bit of a rough and tumble. What eastern dragons have over western ones is the ability to properly coil their 'victims' which is something I enjoy the idea off.
- Alexandra is one of the few characters which has a distinct younger look to her compared to most of my other characters which have a more older / mature vibe to them. Even the male Alex has a much older vibe to him.
- For those interested I'm getting a comic drawn by Tierafoxglove of Alexandra's origin story. Expect to see that in the near future. I'll be handling the colouring myself.

Alright enough exposition. I think Alexandra has been staring for too long at us now!
