At 9th July of 1816, Argentina became independent from Spain (but was fighting like 25 years, including the liberation of Chile and Perú from the Spanish Empire). After like 18 civil wars (we usually just join to expulse the invaders and play futbol, to then can fight in peace against ourselves) , at least 14 attemps of invasion (Spain, Brazil,France, of course England, that have the long duration unique sucess until today), our invasion of California (yes, CALIFORNIA ) for 2 weeks, infinite economical crisis (but no one worst than the 2001 one, and i saw it!), and even the Kirchnerist goverment, etc etc, WE ARE STILL HERE!!!!

We are just like 44 millons, in the second biggest country of South America. In the case of my entire province, surely your town have more people XD
