Four thousand years ago in what would come to be known as the ruins of Bthalft, a grate aetherium forge was built in the depths of skyrim. It also housed a secret experimentation laboratory where the Dwemer of skyrim attempted to re-create a
mysterious object, a large green ring made of an unknown metal with glowing runes that's origin was not known to them. In an attempt to gain grater understanding of the object, the dwemer of Bthalft created their own. The magics of the original ring were the hardest to recreate as if the ring knew the dwemer were trying to extract it's secrets. Not known to the Dwemer, the ring manipulated its abilities and added a set of different effects along with the original as a way of messing around with the Dwemer who were meddling with thing they didn't understand. They had great difficulties with duplicating the effects as their duplicate ring required the energy from the host (a Falmor) soul, with multiple test subjects souls being extracted in to nearby soulgems, and only those with what could be described as a strong will would have their soul remain in his body. Those who could withstand the ring would experience a constant warmth even in the most extreme environments. Another property the ring had was the ability to change size for no apparent reason, and would for months be at a size that could not fit any finger but that of a giant. Experimentation would have stopped but it was observed that the ring had a will over it's host, and perversely persuaded the host to wear it on their penis. Immediately the ring forced arousal into the host, who would stay erect for days with no ill side effects. The subject host had to be isolated as a few of the Dwemer guards had been effected by the subjects body odor, some type of pheromone that sexually aroused the guards, but after the subject was put in isolation the guards minds were returned to normal. With proper precautions the experimentations continued even with this new situation. The magic effects in the ring's previous state were still there but considerable drawbacks had taken hold. The subject experienced weakness, tiredness and his ability to cast spells was gone (the ring drains magica). As for the physical effects the subject who had been a fine Falmor specimen with powerful musculature had drained his physique away. With now way to remove the ring (no one was willing to touch hard Falmor dick) and the subject seemingly refusing to do it himself, the Dwemer needed a way to get it off for more testing. They introduced female Falmor captives, who were immediately aroused by the pheromones release by the host. The hope was to sexually satisfy the host so he would go flaccid but what followed was a full 24 hour orgy. The ring had given the host incredible virility and seemingly unlimited sexual... output, The only reason the orgy stopped was that the women had grown exhausted and passed into unconsciousness, the subject finally went flaccid and the ring slipped off. Not much else is known about the ring after that, other than it was placed in a locked chest deep in Bthalft and forgotten when the Dwemer vanished. It wouldn't be found for thousands of years until it was found by a very unsuspecting dragon.
