I can't judge your your situation and I will not. But pushing yourself to exhaustion will never be successful for long time.

You got some decent skill. Ask decent prices. Plan proper times. Don't throw yourself on the rummage table.

Unfortunately, I am in a bit of a situation myself and no longer able to commision artists for the time being. But spending your health for a living does not make sense long term.

Thank you very much! And I agree. It's because of my boyfriend's injury being unexpected. Usually he uses his earnings to cover the rent and car fuel, and I cover the utilities, groceries, and house supplies so it comes out pretty even. Worker's comp literally only gave us a lousy $300 this month and he's been fighting with them but it's been a lot of phone tag so far. I had to come up with the rest on short notice x_x We didn't expect a ton from comp but we really didn't expect to only get $300 haha. So I had to get my little ass in gear real quick. But you are right, I should have been more prepared. I'll definitely try to be more insightful from now on, I usually don't have savings because extra sums go to my car/credit card debt ^^; but we usually have a really good dynamic. Hopefully he'll be returning to work this month, we are supposed to find that out soon too.
