Some unposted art from this year. Top sketches are all personal pieces - the first is some for-fun concept design for the creator/god from my story, while the two below are sketches of Raydl and Luke being cute because I haven't drawn that in a very long time. Below that are a few Endless Realms illustrations I never ended up posting, and below that are some comic pages I shaded for Vangarthia along with some swords he got me to paint.

Thanks! Yeah, he's not reaaaally supposed to be a serious character - I had done Egyptian/Maya-style "art" of his creation story, but have never tried drawing him as he may have "actually" looked, so it was sorta fun :3
And yeah, he's vaguely fire-themed, so phoenix-gryphon hybrid isn't far off ;)

Aww, trust me, I still feel that way :b Not sure if it ever goes away, heh. I've always tried to stay versatile, though, and working on ER has helped with that a lot - I've had to improve my speed and work on environments and armour and all sorts of things I found challenging. I mean, I still find them challenging, but I'm a lot more comfortable with them now, which is nice.
Heh, I sometimes wonder about my artistic headspace :b I am putting a lot of my own random ideas and such into all the various ER sketches I need to do, but at the same time, it's still working on someone else's world 90% of the time - I just get to put a spin on things. But when it comes to doing "my own" art, it's almost bewildering. What should I do? Where should I start? If it's not a client paying me to do stuff for him I almost can't do it anymore :b

I just never feel like I have the time/energy for personal art @_@ It's like, I just finished 8 hours of artwork, I really don't want to do more art x_x Then the next day, it's more work, and by the time the weekend rolls around, it's like, "Nah, now's my chance to NOT do art" so it rarely happens :b
Haha, I've been the sole source of income for my husband and I for over three years now. I've paid for our wedding, university tuition, and moving overseas twice through art now :b It's not really a choice (I can't get a normal job even if I wanted to, since my visa doesn't allow it).
Whoa, someone who remembers anything about my personal characters :O And yeah, Raydl is sadly the most neglected :b For some reason, she always seemed resistant to being drawn o_O
Also, thank you kindly, although the dragons in the comic weren't actually drawn by me, just shaded. They were originally done by AcidaPluvia, and I agree, I really like how she does scalies :3
