As with the previous entry at the flats stage, here is a sample of the sort of artwork appearing in the commission for backlash I'm currently working through the final stage of the project, adding shading and highlighting as time permits (which seems to be limited to weekends owing to the daily grind). Of course, those who have been eyeballing my commission status page from time to time are already aware of my progress :)

This point in the comic is actually rather simple. Farther on I'll need to devote significantly more effort to produce "certain texture effects" :) . Fortunatley most of the trees and shrubbery were shaded and detailed during the flatshading stage.
