So you may or may not know that I like birds. >_>;
This is Sparky, our (Now very old and scruffy looking) cockatiel. We got him back in 1999 as a little something different to add to our bird menagerie. XD
He's now showing his age, but he sure did look beautiful in his prime!
(All of my birds are getting old and it really sucks.)

I have 2 tiels my mum adopted, Matey is a clever boy. Plays with his toys properly, becoming very sweet. He's still a baby...but Buster? Whoo boy, he eats all his toys, hangs upside-down in the cage, deliberately dances in his food and water...and he's only 6 months, Matey is about 9 we think.
But Tiels are the best birbs, such noisy, silly bubs. :)
I love this, you can defo feel a hint of a cheeky chappie. :)
I know its hard when your birds get older, we just lost our Rosella, Rizz, who was about 19, probably even 20, he was such a special guy, a naughty 5 year old and a grumpy old man mixed together, haha. But cherish your birds, always spend as much time as you can with them. <3

Aww, sounds like a real pair! I'm sorry to hear about your Rizz though. D: Our Sparky is an adopted bird too, we don't actually know how old he was when we got him. :s He still acts like the same adorable cheeky bird he was all those years ago, but he's really starting to show his age now. :C
