Ah, the old "I looked at the dog therefore I'm about to become one because the sand dollar magic that I've never even heard about but apparently is a thing said so" rule, yes everyone in the magic community warns about this... They're always at odds with the religious half about the dove in the sand dollar, though both still can agree stepping on cracks is a completely forbidden taboo that should be avoided at all costs.
