How to Adopt:
Claim her and give her a name. Then look up the symbolism tied to rattlesnakes or generally snakes and choose a power that exemplifies it. Knowledge can become reading minds, Beauty can be shapeshifting, Camouflage invisibility and so on. In particular, rattlesnakes are poisonous (so Poison?) or can mean Change/Transformation (so Shapeshifting?) or Guidance (so Aim or Navigation?) and others, but feel free to imagine


Design Concept:
In a world of magic, young people study with objective of both learning magic and earning the chance to find their spirit animal and fuse with its spirit. Successful fusions can be seen through hair, usually in the form of the animal's tail being 'born' from the human's hair. You can talk with your spirit animal in your mind and will stay with them until death. Joints (as bonded humans are known) can use only one of the powers of the spirit animal, so choosing it is very important.
